The Transforming Information project explores user-centred design for different audiences and contexts. The project develops skills for designing different kinds of instructional texts – those read to promote action rather than those read for pleasure. It involves matching deliverables to different user needs and contexts of use. To support users in reading and decision-making, students use typography, language, diagrams, images, layout and physical form as active tools in the design of information.
This project is open to the Information Design and Graphic Design pathways
