Communicating with Data
Communicating with Data explores the application of user centred/UX design to visualising data for different audiences and contexts. The project develops a set of skills for engaging with data and aligning communication outcomes to user needs through information design. Data and information are approached as active tools to support decision making and drive behaviour, not as passive, decorative, entities. Working with a theme, students transform data into visual information to communicate with both a general audience and a specialist/expert user within a systems context.
This project is open to the Information Design and Graphic Design pathways
