Extension Project (Self-Directed)
This project provides students with the opportunity to develop a self-initiated project or to respond to a client-directed project. In devising or re-stating their brief, students define not just the topic, but also the project aims and objectives as well as the project stages up to completion. As well as providing a context for further developing existing interests, this project creates the possibility for learning new skills or for engaging with work in a professional capacity. This project requires a longer period of engagement than the taught projects, providing students with a more extensive and immersive opportunity for reflective practice within the module.
This project is open to the Book Design, Information Design and Graphic Design pathways
