MA Communication Design student work

Transforming Information

Transforming information explores the application of user-centred design principles to designing information for different audiences and contexts. The project develops skills for designing different kinds of instructional texts (those read/used to learn, understand and act, rather than those read/used for pleasure) and aligning design deliverables to different contexts of use and user needs. Students use typography, language, diagrams, images, layout and physical design as active tools in the design of information, to meet the needs of users and support them in decision-making.

This project is open to the Information Design and Graphic Design pathways
