Henley Business School · Sakshi Joshi
The wayfinding system for Henley Business School was designed to enhance navigation for first time visitors and new students. While students are familiar with the school and the premises, new students are often in a frenzy while searching for their destinations.

To meet the bilingual requirement of the project, the information on the signs is presented in two languages – English and Gujarati. Gujarati does not follow an H-height, so the I-height was used instead, taking the height of the matra — the vertical bar of a letter in Gujarati.

The wayfinding system consists of a family of signs covering outdoor and indoor environments. Across both environments, directional, orientation and identification signs were proposed. The outdoor orientation was facilitated through an area map, which shows the Henley Business School along with neighbouring buildings and facilities for better orientation in the space.

A cohesive set of pictograms was developed to create a sign that is uniform and legible for the user.
