Offcut Zine | Dae Hebner
The project Offcut functions as a pitch for an ongoing experimental zine series focused on sustainability, ethical living, and alternatives to mainstream consumption. Each edition tackles different themes, for example, Issue #1 explores fashion sustainability, digital waste, and permaculture. The zine is a mix recent articles and news, how-to guides, and unique visuals to offer a practical and engaging entry point into environmental topics.

Visually, Offcut strives to achieve a medium between DIY/punk zine traditions and contemporary independent magazines. It combines expressive typography, collage-style layouts, and colour-coded sections to keep the content lively but navigable.

This project includes selected pages from Offcut Issue #1, alongside a cover series envisioning future editions that position the zine as a flexible, evolving publication that responds to current conversations and reader interests.
