2024 | Ryann Carney
These reports detail the processes for each of my four projects. To create a cohesive set of reports I used consistent layouts and typography throughout. However, each report uses a different key colour, pulled from their respective projects.
An Examiners’ Award for Excellence goes to Ryann Carney for her project reports. The examiners commend the comprehensive account of reflective practice through each of the ‘discovery’, ‘transformation’ and ‘making’ stages. They also particularly note the high level of critical reflection and the overall document presentation.
In terms of content, I used the reports to highlight key points in my design process and demonstrate how ideas evolved throughout the project. The reports are split into four sections: discover (research and inspiration), transform (design iterations and testing), make (physical prototyping and design specifications) and reflect (critical analysis of the process and design decisions).
